Utilising our 250 Tonne girder bridge, our Team deliver two 215 Tonne super grid transformers from GE Stafford, via Ellesmere Port, to Kintore Substation, Aberdeenshire.

Adding another wind farm to our Renewables Portfolio, our Team complete delivery of 13 Nordex N133 turbines to Kennoxhead Wind Farm in South Lanarkshire, Scotland.

The Collett Team have completed delivery of two 20m bridge sections as part of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway’s ‘Yorkshire’s Magnificent Journey'.

Our heavy lift Team take on an in-house project, as we utilise our JS125 jacking system to extract a 20 Tonne gantry crane from our Halifax Mile Thorn warehouse.

Collett increase wind energy carrying capacity with the acquisition of Plant Speed’s wind turbine fleet.

After delivering two 160Te shunt reactors last year, we recently completed stage two of the project, delivering two 180Te super grid transformers to onshore substation. Once again, Collett were contracted the full scope of work, providing a door-to-door service from the client’s factory to the substation site. Utilising a 14-row flat top trailer, each transformer was safely delivered to site and manoeuvred into their required position using our jacking and skidding system.

Our Team complete all wind turbine component deliveries to Twentyshilling Wind Farm, located approximately 4.8km south of Sanquhar, in Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland.

Collett expand warehousing operations with the addition of Mile Thorn Works & Perseverance Works to our Halifax, Bradford, Goole & Grangemouth storage portfolio.

The Collett Team transport two 160Te shunt reactors over 5000 miles, to the onshore substation for the Neart na Gaoithe offshore wind farm project, jointly owned by EDF Renewables and ESB in Scotland.
